Resolution
Image resolution is the number of dots or pixels that fit into one inch of space. “Higher resolution” means more image detail creating a high-quality, sharper image.
The standard rule of thumb for print is to use images at 300 DPI or greater, and for web, use images no lower than 72 DPI.
